Learning Design

I specialize in creating community-based education for informal learning environments. I use a trauma-informed approach to ensure any session provides a positive learning experience where participants’ knowledge is centred, recognized and valued. 

I will work with you to make the subject matter accessible and interesting to your audience. I am experienced in facilitating sensitive topics and engaging participants who have been marginalized by societal inequities and I bring this experience to my learning design.

In collaboration with your team, I will develop the curriculum, teaching tools and delivery structure so that your topic can come to life in a learning setting. Using adult-education techniques and transformational learning philosophy, I will help you create an effective and interactive educational program. The design process includes learning from your team, subject matter experts and your target audience to ensure the sessions meet their learning needs.
